1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no connection to a government office or court. It does not keep official dockets or court files, retrieve a case for a visitor, change a court date, or file a document for anyone.

Its references distinguish Sheila Olson’s Vernon County Clerk of Circuit Court office at 400 Courthouse Square, Suite 115, Viroqua, WI 54665, telephone 608-637-5340, open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wisconsin Circuit Court Access, municipal-court clerks, and other official routes. Some links lead to outside search services that operate under their own terms.

Material here is general information about Vernon County dockets and records. It is not an official docket, court order, or legal opinion. Confirm a date, event, status, or copy with the court or record custodian that holds the case.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

• Decide whether to hire or fire someone
• Screen potential renters or housing applicants
• Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
• Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
• Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

If you need a background check for any of those purposes, use an FCRA-compliant screening company.

Stat. §§ 801.19-801.21, juvenile confidentiality under Wis. Stat. § 938.396, and other court-specific access rules. A dispute tied to use of the resource must be brought in a Wisconsin court.
