This page separates questions for this private reference resource from requests that belong to an official office. Vernon County circuit docket questions usually go to the Clerk of Circuit Court. Municipal citations go to the court named on the citation, and public circuit case searches begin with WCCA.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Send a Vernon County request to the custodian that holds the record. The right route depends on whether the matter is in circuit court, a municipal court, or a separate government office:

  • A docket sheet: run a case search through the statewide portal, or request the docket from the clerk of court
  • A court date or setting: check the court calendar, or confirm the setting with the clerk of court
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: look it up with a case search by party name or case number
  • Court records and case files: see court records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case

For a circuit docket, file inspection, or copy request, contact Vernon County Clerk of Circuit Court Sheila Olson at 400 Courthouse Square, Suite 115, Viroqua, WI 54665, or call 608-637-5340. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The county publishes sheila.olson@wicourts.gov and fax 608-637-5554, but it does not say that every copy request can be sent by email or fax. Confirm the accepted channel and payment steps before sending sensitive material.
